Plan a memorable Kashmir Vacation with our LTC Package. Srinagar covers Sonmarg, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg. You will be met by our Holiday Travel Zone representative at the Srinagar airport. He will assist and transfer you to the deluxe houseboat/hotel. In the afternoon, you take a shikara ride on Dal Lake (optional), where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikaras, there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe, Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife, empress Nur Jahan. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Morning leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), 2730 mts above the sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes, and you can also enjoy a cable car (Gondola) for a mountain ride up to Khilangmarg. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening, . Overnight in the hotel.
Morning, proceed to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. Sonmarg is sorrounded by flowers. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude Himalayan Lakes. In the evening, drive back from Sonmarg. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to The valley of shepherds. The total distance is about 96 kms, and it will be covered in about 3 hours. En route, visiting the saffron fields of Pampore, Awantipura Ruins (a 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoying the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam walk along pony trails. Overnight in House Boat at Srinagar.
After breakfast, this is your departure day return Home With Happy Memories………..

Prepaid SIM cards don't work in J&K due to security reasons; a postpaid connection is a must.

In Katra for Pithu / Palki / Pony services, Municipal Committee Katra has fixed the rates, and they are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga.
If someone is overcharging above the listed rates, it's up to you how hard you can bargain.
In Srinagar, if you are staying at the Houseboat: - Shikara Ride is complimentary, do not pay for the same.
It is not mandatory for guests to take ponies in Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots; all the major tourist attraction points are in close proximity, so you can walk it down.
However, if you still wish to take a pony ride/sledging/rafting, etc., the rates are highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max.
Vehicle provided will be as per the itinerary and not at disposal. If a vehicle is used for shopping, visiting markets and restaurants other than those mentioned in the itinerary, then there will be extra charges
One room can accommodate a maximum of 4 passengers ( 2 adults, 1 extra bed, 1 child without a bed)
In Himachal and Kashmir, and any hill station, the facilities of hotels, Services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in Himachal are categorized on the basis of location, services, and costing, and not as per Star Categorization, i.e., 2*, 3*,4*,5*.
If a guest makes a payment through any gateway, then an extra fee above the package cost will be charged between 2% to 3.5% as a processing fee.
